Exercise has proven to help reduce breast cancer risk and even help breast cancer survivors live longer. Yoga in particular helps control physical functions such as blood pressure, heart rate, breathing, metabolism, body temperature, brain waves, and skin resistance. This can result in improved physical fitness, lower levels of stress, and increased feelings of relaxation and well-being. Clinical trials are currently underway, assessing the effects of yoga on components in the blood associated with stress and/or immune status in cancer patients and survivors. http://www.nfcr.org/health-benefits-yoga
